The Creature from the Black Lagoon is one of my favorite movies ever. You are a great actress. You were so good as Kay.This is truly a horror classic and you set the bar for so many after you.

Just wanted to drop a line to say thanks for all the hours your work has entertained myself and my family. I used to watch "The Creature" all the time when I was a kid in the 1960's, and also watched "Bend of the River" as often as I could. Then, I was pleased to see you again in the 1990's on "Murder, She Wrote" on TV ! My wife is a big Elvis fan, so she mostly loved seeing you in "Tickle Me" with the king ! We hope to get the money together soon, so we can get your autograph. Our two girls, ages 5 and 7, just love watching "the creature's girlfriend", as they call you, on video, so they would love that !Also, we have a small poster reproduction of "The Creature" from the original 1954 poster, and they always walk by and wave at you there in the gill-man's arms under the water. A classy web site for a classy lady. I just received my signed 8x10 and I'm thrilled.
I first became aware of you through images from CFTBL in Famous Monsters of Filmland magazines and later on TV. I as a red blooded Canadian boy just like scores of red blooded American boys was totally captivated by you in that film.
I have just gone through my copy of Universal?s Legacy DVD Collection of the Creature and I was especially interested in your comments and may I add you still look great!

In 1969, The Creature from the Black Lagoon was on the late show on TV so, I took a couple of phone books and put my father`s super8 movie camera and taped it on top of the books for stability and managed to save about 3 minutes of this wonderful film! I still have it today, although I now have a copy of all three original movies. Out of all the Aurora Monsters of Universal, The Creature is still my favourite!!! I want to take this opportunity to thank you and Ben Chapman for a movie that will always hold a warm place in my heart! God bless and long life to you and Ben!

Finally! A website for Julie Adams...looking for it for years. Like many of the others, I first saw the beauteous Julie in CFTBL in 1964 on television when "Chiller Diller" was playing late due to Republican convention coverage. After that, I had to see all her pictures, and scanned the Guide weekly to find her scores of television "Guest Star" appearances...and starting in the early 1980s recorded to VHS (and later converted to DVD). CFTBL is re-playing in 3-D at a retro-house on 3/11 -3/12 and I intend to see it for the umpteenth time. (Curiously my mother shares her birthdate of October 17th...2 fit, lovely Libra ladies).
