I always find it so amazing when I stumble on someone that I watched as a kid. I would sit up late and watch 1950's movies any chance I got. I had the biggest crush on you as a young teenager in the 80's from, of course, Creature from the Black Lagoon. So, glad to see you still involved and to see all you have done career wise.

Hello Julie, I am very fond of the Gill Man as we were both born in the same year. Considerig the VAST amout of work you have done in the industry; it's really ironic that a Universal Monster would be associated with you. We all know good Monsters never die anyway. God Bless you, Anthony

Hello Julie,
I was a friend of Ben's. I was devisted when he passed away. He told me he is very ill, but I just thought he was bigger than life, and I guess I just thought he'd beat it. He wanted me to come to the fest so he could introduse me to you. I'd written the sequel to Creature, and he loved it. But by then, he was too sick. He had tried to get one of my screenplays to a director that he knew, but it just never happened. Funny, you put off things, then it's too late. Ben was a great human being. I was proud to know him.
Hope all is well with you...
Andrea

Hi,
When I was in grade school, Julie Adams lived across the street from me in Blytheville, Arkansas. I believe she was in high school at the time. The address was the 300 block of Dougan Street.
I am sure she would not remember me, and I do not recall seeing her.
Just had the urge to put this in writing. I still enjoy seeing the episodes of "Murder She Wrote" in which she appeared as well as some of her films.
My regards to Miss Adams.

Ms. Adams,
I believe you were friends with my great aunt, Esther Tabor, who lived in Malvern, Arkansas. I seem to remember her mentioning that you used to come stay with her every so often.
Aunt Esther passed away in 1989, but I'd love to know about your friendship with her--how you two knew each other and what memories you had of your times together. if you have time, please email me.
Thanks,
Rick Mansfield

First of all I hope this note finds you healthy and happy!
Secondly I also was born in Wtloo, Iowa in 1950. I believe you lived there for part of your life. My mom used to have her hair done by my Aunt Ester. Aunt Ester had been married to my Uncle Jack (mom's brother). Does any of this sound familiar? If it does I would really enjoy hearing from you! I always wanted to contact you but never knew how. I did find this guestbook today and hope it helps me. Anyway I have always loved your movies and performances! Again I hope to hear from you. Well take care and God bless. Al

How artificial Hollywood actresses appear today compared with the fresh beauty you brought to the screen in your heyday. It's probably why the censors left in your rousing bathing suit scenes in The Creature from the Black Lagoon - much to he relief of your many fans. You have made a lot of audiences happy over a long period, and we hope you live forever.

Hi Julie,
I had the privledge of attending a 3-D showing of TCFTBLagoon this past week. The last time I saw the film in 3-D was when it came out! (Those glasses still hurt my nose and make my eyes cross...). Ginger Stanley (Hallowell) was there and made it real fun to hear all her stories. I wish you could have been there, too. I hope Wakulla Springs will put together another Creaturefest and that you can visit with us. I wish you well and continued health!

Julie...I am writing to u because I just saw an Andy Griffith episode with u in it as Nurse Mary. What a lovely woman you were and still are I am sure. You were trying desperately to give Farmer Rafe his tetanus shot....and in the end it was Barney who was the big baby!! You would NEVER get away with going to a farm and administering an injection in this day and age!! Love u, dear...hope to hear back from you.
