I have always enjoyed your work. My favorite movie of yours is "Slaughter On Tenth Avenue." I once spoke with Harry Bellaver. He mentioned that you are lovely and nice. I would agree 100%.
Take care, Ms. Adams.

Hello Julie!
I know you're linked forever with Creature but it's been a favorite with me since I saw it in the real movies when it came out (I was around 7!) You have been and continue to be my absolute favorite female star of that genre! Good health and with great fondness...

Dear Ms Adams,
I just want to say Thank you and Congratulations for all the work you have accomplished through the years. You are one of the most captivating beauties to grace the silver screen. As a huge Andy Griffith fan I fondly remember you as one of several nurses to catch the Sheriff's eye. I just watched the Creature From The Black Lagoon again this weekend. To use an old cliche, they just don't make them like they use to. I am so glad that you are still active and I pray this note finds you well.

Hello Miss Adams, I hope this note finds you in good health. I have seen your face many times over the years growing up most notably for me is was the Black Lagoon movie. I heard it was filmed at Silver Springs here in Florida. I was born in 1957, so it was a staple of creature features and late night horror shows.I am raising items for an animal shelter silent auction to take place in Jan. 2009 in Jacksonville. I was looking at film posters from movies filmed in Florida. If I ordered a copy of the poster from allposters.com and had it sent to you in California would you autograph it and send me the tube here in Florida. I would send you a cashiers check for your time and postage. I picture frame as a hobby and would love to donate the framed poster to my charity. If this is too cumbersome of a request I understand. Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely, Thomas Young

I've really enjoyed you in The Creature from the Black Lagoon and Bend of the River. Look forward to watching you in any movies, TV, or films. I saw you in Oakdale,La. in 1953. I was in the 8th grade. The school let us out early for your personal appearance in downtown Oakdale. Chill Wills and George Murphy were with you. I'll never forget it. You are the only movie star I have ever seen in person. Enjoyed biography!

Came across the iconic CBL pic online, and was startled by how much you look like Jennifer Connelly-- though you never got her recognition. Read online that you were annoyed about CBL. Still? I created one of the Woodstock rock groups, very minor one, and for years was annoyed that my novels were never that popular. But it's the 40th anniversary now, and you know, how many people do anything that everybody knows, forty years later? I have and you have. Be proud!

I fell in love with Julia Adams as a child watching Bend of the River, The Lawless Breed and the Man from the Alamo. I am now 51 and this is a love I have carried my entire life. I believe she is one of the most Attractive and Intelligent women in the film industry. I try to never miss an opportunity to see her perform. She is as beautiful today as she has always been.

Julie -- Thanks so much for the simply lovely phone message. I will always regret not being home when you called so that I could have chatted for a minute. So happy you received the music. I wrote you a letter asking whether you had gotten it the day before you phoned, so you should be getting that letter after the fact. I had a feeling it took time for things to reach you. If you don't receive it, feel free to let me know. I'm so honored to be the proud publisher of music from some of your pictures!

Julie, I just want to thank you for being such a sweet gal many years ago when you visited Manhattan, Kansas for a premiere of Major Benson. I only had an outside camera and you were willing to come outside and let me take a photograph of you outside our muncipal building. That photo is still in my scrapbook. I attended the premiere of that movie as well. The memories of that day are very special to me and again I want to thank you for your kindness to a teenager. It was very special to me.

Dear Ms Adams, I can't tell you how glad I was at finding your personal website, and I wish to thank you for the beautiful stills you uploaded there. Aside your fantasy pictures, which I enjoyed very much, one of my favorite Julie Adams movies is BEND OF THE RIVER, directed by the legendary Anthony Mann. Oh, and speaking of directors: I live in Milan, Italy, where today Roger Corman was a guest at a local festival. I had already met him in the past, and what a kind, literate man he is! I'm sure you'd have enjoyed being here with the rest of us.
