I heard it was filmed at Silver Springs here in Florida. I was born in 1957, so it was a staple of creature features and late night horror shows.I am raising items for an animal shelter silent auction to take place in Jan. 2009 in Jacksonville. I was looking at film posters from movies filmed in Florida.If I ordered a copy of the poster from allposters.com and had it sent to you in California would you autograph it and send me the tube here in Florida. I've really enjoyed you in The Creature from the Black Lagoon and Bend of the River. Look forward to watching you in any movies, TV, or films. I saw you in Oakdale,La. in 1953. I was in the 8th grade. The school let us out early for your personal appearance in downtown Oakdale. Chill Wills and George Murphy were with you. I'll never forget it. Came across the iconic CBL pic online, and was startled by how much you look like Jennifer Connelly-- though you never got her recognition. Read online that you were annoyed about CBL. Still? I created one of the Woodstock rock groups, very minor one, and for years was annoyed that my novels were never that popular. But it's the 40th anniversary now, and you know, how many people do anything that everybody knows, forty years later? I have and you have. Be proud!

Fell in love with you at age 12.

I fell in love with Julia Adams as a child watching Bend of the River, The Lawless Breed and the Man from the Alamo. I am now 51 and this is a love I have carried my entire life. I believe she is one of the most Attractive and Intelligent women in the film industry. I try to never miss an opportunity to see her perform. She is as beautiful today as she has always been.

Always enjoyed your films, and watch for them on the late shows. Seeing you on tv programs, has also been wonderful
