Hi Julie Adams, I'm associated with a public alternative radio station, WWUH, 91.3 FM (not an NPR affiliate) in Hartford, Ct, where I produce and host a weekly three hour specialty program, Country Classics. I profile early country western music artists going back to the days of Gene Autry, Tex Ritter, and Roy Rogers. I also profile some of the the early television country / western series that were popular back in the 1950's and 1960's. In conjunction with this I try to arrange pre-recorded interviews with the actors and actresses associated with these TV programs when available. I would like very much to do a program in your honor to discuss some of your roles in westerns, particularly, "Yancy Derringer". Some of my previous guests have been, Kent McCray, one of the producer's of ("Bonanza", "Little House On The Prairie"), Ben Costello, author of
"Gunsmoke: An American Institution", Jeff Connors, son of Chuck Connors ("The Rifleman"), Johnny Western ("Have Gun Will Travel"), Clint Walker ("Cheyenne"), Hugh O'Brian of ("Wyatt Earp"), Fess Parker of ("Davy Crockett", "Daniel Boone"), Linda Evans of ("The Big Valley"), Wright King, Harry Carey Jr. These programs have no hidden agenda, political or otherwise. I try to keep the subject material light, informative and fun. I may be reached M-F at (860) 565-9415 or by e-mail as to your availability.
Thank you
Steve Brewer

Ms. Adams,
I befriended your late husband Ronald Cohen; actually, to be fair, as I was suffering from severe culture shock -- an American returning to America after twenty years in England and Europe --, your husband's kindness shined through his invitation for me to attend with him various events, even if I hung in the back corner like a scared sparrow. Although I was at your home on one occasion, and met your son, you were asleep, and we did no disturb you. I read only recently of Ronald's passing, and hate myself for having forgotten him now that I am raising my own family -- a son Conor (11) and a daughter Allessandra (10). I know this belated acknowledgement does you or Ronald no good, but I hope you don't mind me airing it so that I can pay testimony to one of the good guys of Hollywood who had the good fortune to marry one of the good gals. If there is anyway I can assit you in the future, please contact me at:
drtomecon@cox.net
Always,
Tom

Ms. Adams,
I have a special affinity for sci-fi movies, and despite their " B " classification, offered movie buffs an outlet to find entertainment, sometimes thought provoking ideas, and plain fun.Your contribution to the film industry, along with Richard Carlson, Richard Denning, in these sci-fi films were simply great! My daughter now watches many of the same sci-fi films, and also realizes your effectiveness in creating a atmosphere of sci-fi fear in these films.Thank you for bringing your presence and interpretation of character to these films. As an orphan, I discovered sci-fi movies to be exciting, frightening, and just thought provoking !
They were also a prelude to the grander scale sci-fi movies of today !

Dear Ms. Adams
I?m Cl?udio Pereira, a 44 years old brasilian fan of yours.
My firt contact with the movie ?The creature from the black lagoon? could be when I was 7 years old. At that time I already liked horror movies but unfortanetly my sisters didn?t let me watch that, they were afraid me not to sleep the next night...
For years I had some oportunities to watch the movie but I didn?t . I?m not sure if it?s because of the busy time or maybe a non interest in that moment.
Only now I?ve had contact with this movie in DVD and I regret haven?t watched before. A lot!!!!!!
Regret the lost time. Because just now I could meet the most beautiful actress in the world, and this feeling isn?t mine only, but million of fans? arround the globe.
I really tank you for you to exist Julie Adams and for generating the world moments of rare beauty with your interpretation acting beside great stars in several movies and series.
It?s a huge pleasure to contact you and it would give me great joy and it would be very important for me to receive an autographed picture of you and if it?s possible with a dedication on it. I have already choosen a photo in your web site and I?m already arranging everyting in order to get it.
Tank you.

 Dear Ms. Adams,
I was born in 1947 and I note from your biography that you were born in 1926, the same year as my mother, so I hope you don't find it strange that as a young boy in the 50's, I fell madly in love with you after seeing, you guessed it, The Creature from the Black Lagoon. I understand that it may get tiresome that this particular role is what everyone remembers, but long after you and I are both gone, there will always be a Julie Adams. I guess it is the closest thing to immortality in this world. Thanks for the memories of a young boy sitting in a darkened theater and discovering love for the first time.
God bless you,
Reg Mason

Hi Julie!
Happy New year! I want to thank you for the many hours of enjoyment that I've had while watching your films. I unfornately wasn't alive to see them on the big screen but I've enjoyed them ominously on the small screen nevertheless. Thank goodness for video, DVD, and Turner Classic Movies.
Bend of the River is one of my favorites of your films and I have to ask what is was like to work with James Stewart? He's so cute and he must have been an absolute dream to work with. I've read that he was a pratical joker on the set of films.
I've also enjoyed seeing you on Cold Case and Lost. They're two of my favorite TV shows and I'm looking forward to seeing you on both in the near future.
Sincerely,
Wendy McKinley
