Julie i hope you are well and are doing great. I met and photographed you and Tippi Hedren at a Horrorhound convention a few years back. My friend Tom Stockman and i are still around and kicking. I had to retire early due to losing my wife in 2006 and the onset of diabetes. You, Tippi, and Adrienne Barbeau treated me very kind and it was a real pleasure to meet you and your son Mitch. Have a blessed day, Gary Harrison.

Hello Julia Adams: Although you will have no recollection whatsoever, I will always remember you from our visit on the set of Bend of the River. I had come from Illinois to visit relatives in Oregon City, Oregon, went to Mt. Hood and saw you, James Stewart, Arthur Kennedy, Rock Hudson, Jay C. Flippen etc on set. It was 1952 (just like yesterday). Where does the time go? Best Wishes. Roger Colton

Seems rather unfair. You've given us so much pleasure over the years; and we have not really given you anything!
Very happy to see that you are still with us.
By the way... Never liked to see your ex in his various acting roles. Always looked liked such an oily, untrustworthy guy.

Watched it as a kid and now many years later with my kids. I had such a crush on you as a child. Lol. I think I'm blushing at my age. Anyways...wishing you well and thanks for all the great movies.

Ms. Adams,
I've always been a fan of the Andy Griffith Show. When I saw you a few days ago I decided to research that very beautiful nurse. I found out that not only had you been Andy's love interest, but you were also in the Black Lagoon movies I loved as a child.
May I say that your recent pictures posted online are just as beautiful as the lovely actress I see on TV from back in the day. You are very classy and timeless.
Kind regards,
Greg

Ms. Adams,
what a wonderful opportunity to be able to share my feelings about the Creature movie with you. I am sure you have heard it before, but you were excellent as the monster's love interest (who wouldn't be interested?)
I wish you all the luck in the future. You still look beautiful.

Hi Julie,
As a life long fan of westerns I have to tell you that I have always loved you and thought you were the MOST beautiful actress in Hollywood. Every time I watch my favorite western, "Bend of the River" I still get mad at Jimmy Stewart for taking so long to ask you to marry him. I just watched "The Lawless Breed" yesterday on cable and thought that you and Rock must have been the all time most beautiful on screen couple. I also loved your appearance on "The Andy Griffith Show" and later loved seeing you on "Murder She Wrote". Well, thank you so much for reading this and if you ever answered me back I would be incredibly thrilled.

The Internet continues to turn up gems, both large and small . . . Watching Ms. Adams in 1950’s Crooked River is an excellent illustration to the chapter in her biography about her early Hollywood days.
In Crooked River Ms. Adams is billed as “Betty Adams” and sports a fluffy late-40s hairdo. Dressed in appropriate western gingham, she is a support to her brother Lucky, played by Russell Hayden. Although mainly “the girl” (or, more appropriately, “the sister”) in this opus, she comports herself well, one moment pulling a gun on the baddie, and the next moment making a poultice for her wounded brother. Despite the film being strictly what used to be called “a programmer,” Ms. Adams’ nascent talent and beauteous presence are apparent.
