All our love for Miss Julie. Meeting her was a definitive high point in our lives. Julie was the reason "Kilted Creature" was born, pyping her a Birthday tune. Her legacy will live forever, and shine as bright as the Lucky Southern Star she is.

My condolences to the family of Julie Adams. I am saddened by the news of her passing and I feel like I have lost a neighbor(she did own 40 acres of land in Newton County, near where I live. She enjoyed taking her grandchildren hiking there).
Julie, a native of Arkansas, has been a favorite actress of mine ever since I first saw her in THE PRIVATE WAR OF MAJOR BENSON(1955), when I was a youngster. I realize that she will be most remembered for her memorable role in CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON(1954) and rightly so. She was very beloved by her fans and she so appreciated them. Her role in this Classic Movie has made her an icon to monster movie fans, although, I think her steadiest genre was the Western and she was so good in them. That said, I think she was good in any genre that she appeared in.
Julie Adams had much talent, beauty, determination, and graciousness. She was a true Southern Star.
JULIE ADAMS R.I.P.

I have always thought Ms. Adams to be one of most underrated actresses of television and movies. She was very beautiful and, whenever I saw her name in the credits of a movie or tv show, I would smile and know this would be better than expected. Rest in peace, Ms. Julie Adams.

Julie was a wonderful person. I have many fond memories of spending time with her, and my cousin Susan, at their Wrightwood cabin. Lots of good conversations and times spent playing Phantom with the kids.

I'm shocked and sad to hear that the beautiful Julie Adams has passed away. I just watched 'Bend of the River' last night. I had a crush on her when I was 5 in 1977 after watching 'Creature From the Black Lagoon.' Her beauty was without a doubt the 'Golden era of Hollywood!' I'm gonna miss you babe! Love you forever Julie. Kevin H.

I am very sorry to hear of Julie's passing. She was a lovely lady and I am very happy I got to meet her at one of her book signings in late 2013 in Hollywood at Larry Edmund's bookshop. I will cherish her book and a few of her movies that I do own. She lived a long life and seemed to love what she was doing. RIP Julie! We will miss you!!

I was very sad to learn of Julieโs passing. I watched the first Creature film multiple times since I was little so Julie definitely was a part of my childhood. She was a delight in any role she played. Itโs unfortunate I had to miss my opportunity to meet her at Chiller Expo back in 2012 due to Hurricane Sandy but at least she is left with a legacy that will live on. She will be dearly missed. RIP to the beautiful and talent Julie Adams. :(

So sad to hear of Ms. Adams passing. I purchased 2 copies of her book and a copy of the audio book. I watched several old TV shows and movies after I heard her description of "behind the scenes" stories. She was a woman of class, very rare today.

Ms. Adams was THE horror movie starlet and understandably the object of the Creature's affection. Please accept my family's condolences on her passing - "The Creature from the Black Lagoon" was the first Universal classic monster movie we saw together. (A very well-attended nighttime showing on the Greenway in Boston) If flowers or memorials can be sent in her memory, please her fans know.
