I was very sad to learn of Julie’s passing. I watched the first Creature film multiple times since I was little so Julie definitely was a part of my childhood. She was a delight in any role she played. It’s unfortunate I had to miss my opportunity to meet her at Chiller Expo back in 2012 due to Hurricane Sandy but at least she is left with a legacy that will live on. She will be dearly missed. RIP to the beautiful and talent Julie Adams. :(

So sad to hear of Ms. Adams passing. I purchased 2 copies of her book and a copy of the audio book. I watched several old TV shows and movies after I heard her description of "behind the scenes" stories. She was a woman of class, very rare today.

Ms. Adams was THE horror movie starlet and understandably the object of the Creature's affection. Please accept my family's condolences on her passing - "The Creature from the Black Lagoon" was the first Universal classic monster movie we saw together. (A very well-attended nighttime showing on the Greenway in Boston) If flowers or memorials can be sent in her memory, please her fans know.

Mrs. Julie Adams has always been one of my favorite actresses since i first discovered her in her iconic role in “Creature of the Black Lagoon.” Even though it was just a role in a monster movie, she captured mine - and hundreds of others hearts. I’ve been on the lookout for other Adams movies as she stole hearts and the screen in everything else she would appear in. As a huge fan it saddens me I did not get a chance to meet or get an surly from her before she went on to her next great role, but getting to see her great movies and know about this great actresss is still amazing enough. My hearts and thoughts go out to her family during this time 😢. Farewell and thank you for the continuous memories!

Dear Mitch and Stephen, I fell out of touch with Julie after Ray and Ronald passed, but I have fond memories of all during the ‘80’s, especially Julie’s kindness, her soft nurturing spirit, warm shy humor and “see through all” intelligence. Her memory will always be a blessing. Stephen Macht

Ms. Adams,
Firstly, I wanted to say that if I knew I could send you a message like this I would have done it a long time ago. I have enjoyed a lot of your films over the years. Embarrassingly enough, I did not realize you were in an episode of the Andy Griffith Show until last year. But, thank you for being such a great actress!

Ms. Julie Adams,
From the first moment I cast eyes on your lovely visage, I was struck by your exquisite beauty and incandescent talent. There has always been something special, a supernal grace to you that sets you apart from all others, a rare ineffable gift of spirit, an inestimable aspect of soul that shines through. I always saw that in your eyes, and immaculate smile. Had we been equal or so in age, I would have sought a lifetime of Indian summers with you sharing laughter and love as the very best of companions.
How silly that must sound, but I always had a great crush on you. And I am so glad, that you are still here, that I may tell you that and thank you for a thousand hours of grand entertainment, even if my heart had to bear its burden of unrequited love. God bless you, Julie Adams. You are truly a star of the first magnitude in the highest firmament of Hollywood’s heaven. Best wishes for good health, happiness, love, laughter, and continued longevity.

Julie, you've always been one of my favorites. If you still attend signing shows, I'd love to meet you at the Kanab, Utah Western Stars Roundup show end of August 2019. I was last there in 2017 to meet Johnny Crawford and many others.
Take care.
