Greetings from Pennsylvania, Mrs. Adams and a belated Merry Christmas. I am a retired Air Force CMSgt and a big fan of yours (and, of course, the "Gill Man"). I hope you are doing well. I really appreciate you taking the time to communicate with your fans. I plan to send a movie poster to you that I received for Christmas. I really look forward to having you autograph it for me. Thank you for being a part of my fondest childhood memories as well. You are an important part of movie history!
Warmest regards,
Ed Hopper

Today is Ronald M. Cohen's birthday. He was Julie Adams's partner for many years. Although there is no mention of him anywhere on this website or in her "book," he supported her and her sons and loved her dearly. He was a man among men and my dear friend. If there is a Heaven, I know you will elbow others out of line and greet me first. With my doggies.

Dear Ms Adams,
I want to wish you and your family happy holidays and to wish you well. I miss the days you were in the film business but have many of your films on DVD and your wonderful book. You were gracious enough to send me a charming letter and picture some time back which I dearly cherish. I remain a huge fan. Be well.

Hi,
I have always enjoyed the Andy Griffith show and like the episode "the county nurse". I bet that was an interesting experience being on that show. I have not seen "the creature from the black lagoon" but I will have to check it out. I just watched the youtube clip where you discuss it. Take care.
My 7 year old daughter picked the smiley face.

Dear Ms. Adams,
Just want to wish you and your family Happy Holidays and to thank you and your son once more for visiting us at Heritage Hill Historical Park in Lake Forest, CA.
I also want to mention that at some point I will be sending you a review of your book. Alas, soon after your visit I was crazy enough to lend it to a friend, and he's still reading it! For the time being, then, I'll simply say that anyone who orders your book is in for a treat. It's a "star read" without malice--forthright and honest, but refusing to get bogged down in scandal and other silliness. Instead The Lucky Southern Star presents us with the story of a young woman who persevered, played the cards dealt her . . . and ultimately triumphed in both her career and her personal life!
More appreciation to come, but for now a simple thanks for sharing your story with us, and here's wishing you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Thank you, thank you, thank you a million times for the signed photo for my brother! It came in the mail today, and it's going to be a Christmas present. He's been in love with you since the Creature From the Black Lagoon came out (he's 64 and still talks about what a total babe you are), and I know this is going to thrill him. Why I never thought of it before is beyond me. So once again, thank you so much from two of your lifetime fans! Much love to you!

Dear Julia Adams! Happy Happy Birthday afterwards! Just got to know that your one just has been... I also will say, what a great honour to have the possibility to write to you...in your guestbook. Yesterday, at Halloween eve (in Germany) I watched ´Creature of the black lagoon´...in 3D and on Blu-ray. I made myself a birthday present (mine was on the 5th of October) when I ordered this new and fantastic steelbook version of that movie with lots of background on amazon.de. In the 80´s I saw the movie first in our local cinema...in 3D as well and with the old green/red googles. It was amazing. And yesterday night (and today´s morning for the sencond half and the specials I again enjoyed the movie very much. -Still can´t believe that they already had this technique at that time. Amazing! You´re such a great, stunning and beautiful actress and I definitely would like to buy one or the other of your signed articles. -Hope you ship to overseas ...

Hello Julie Adams. What an honor to be writing to you. You are a great and beautiful actress. I recently saw you in a "Bonanza" episode. You were a female gambler that was going to marry Hoss for the money. What a naughty lady, shame, shame on you. A great show, like all of your other endevours. I am very interested in buying a photo with you and the "Gill-Man" online. I would like you to write a small inscription in addition to signing your name. I could not figure out to add the inscription? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Gorgeous. Tom.

My name is Jason Norman, and I am a college English professor in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and the proud owner of a Master’s Degree in Professional Writing. I am working on my second book.
I’m in the midst of a long profile on the Creature from the Black Lagoon, and Ms. Adams’ book was a big help. Here are just a few more areas from which I would like a bit more detail.
Here are the questions I would like to ask:
1. How did you go about preparing for your role as Kay Lawrence? How long did you spend preparing?
2. Were there any lines or scenes that were especially tough to do, or that came off well, in your opinion? What was it like, watching the film with all the special effects added?
3. What has given the Creature series such lasting life, in your opinion?
