Dear Miss Adams,
Creature from the Black Lagoon has always been one of my all-time favorites, in no small part because of you. Your genuine, natural warmth and humanity really shines through the screen, and every frame that you are in just absolutely sparkles. In my humble opinion, you are by far the most beautiful, radiant woman to ever grace a sci-fi or horror film, or any film, for that matter. And you in that white bathing suit! Wow! Fast forward to 2014, and you are still beautiful. I was delighted to discover your book and your website, as I've always been a huge fan of yours. After ordering several items from there, I am overwhelmed by your kindness and generosity. Thank you very much for so many years of viewing enjoyment, and also for some really fond memories of my younger days. Take care, and God bless you.
Your Friend,
Tony

Dear Julie:
I have been a "Monster fan" since I can remember... Have made some comics and stories about monsters when I grew up. I used to prefer the Monster to the rest of the cast in films.
With one remarkable exception: THE MONSTER FROM THE BLACK LAGOON. In that film I falled in love with the "Siren" instead of the Monster, although he was very likeable too, especially when he shaked his gills. The "BL" films are treasures among my collection. And your stills are jewels. Thanks a lot for having been there, in my world of beautiful dreams.

Hi, My name is David Williams. I met you and got your book in Little Rock last year, and am friends on facebook with you. I have published two books on the film and tv costars of Audie Murphy and Audrey Hepburn recently. It wouldn't let me send a link to them on amazon, but its easy to find them if you look up my name and either Audie Murphy or Audrey Hepburn.
I have been bombarded form folks wanting me to do one like it on Elvis, and since you worked with him, would love it if you would be willing to do a forward to it. For the Audie Murphy book Michael Dante and Jan Merlin did forwards to it. Thank you.

Yes, Julia was beautiful in The Black Lagoon but she was breathtaking in The Mississippi Gambler with Tyrone Power. I could never figure out how he chose Piper Laurie over her.

My mother, (who is 80 and lives in FLA) just called me to relay the following message: "I have watched you for years on Andy reruns. I am so impressed with with you and your beauty and talent. You are the best actress I have seen in the eighty years of my life. Your performance on that show is important to me. It is precious and I thank you for your art. My son tells me that you have been in some very important movies, but I have never been one for cinema. I will trust his judgement".
And that is what Betty Squirek said on the evening of January 12.
I (Mark) am looking to pick up an autographed copy of the book as well as the Andy photograph and have it sent to her. For some reason I am having a trouble navigating the store to get copies. If they are not available, please let me know and I will just order the regular copies.
As for me, of course I know your film work and appreciate your skill (and beauty) as well. I would go on, but this is already long. Thank you, Mark Squirek

Congratulations for being chosen the University of Arkansas at Little Rock's Alumnus of the Year for 2013. Of course, you attended Little Rock Junior College -- you wouldn't recognize it now. Dear Miss Adams,
I just watched "The County Nurse" episode from the Andy Griffith Show. Enjoyed your character very much. Too bad you never became Andy's girlfriend!
I also remember a Bonanza episode where you charmed poor Hoss to pay off your gambling debts.
I have to admit as a 10 year old boy I had a bit of a crush on you. I am 61 now & still enjoy catching you on TV from time to time.
Please take care and know you are admired.
