The Film Forum in NYC recently held a 3D revival of THE CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON. You were stunning when I first saw the film during its original release and my memory of you remains unchanged. Thank you.

Hello again Miss Adams and Mitch Danton. It was such a pleasure for my wife, Robin Gilligan, and me to finally meet you and speak with you (San Jose Toy Show 8/17/13). Once again your most positive and joyful spirit was evidenced by your charming smile and sly giggle. Though most know you through "Creature", we have seen many of the other films (westerns and "Tickle Me" among the many) as well as the "Perry Mason" episodes and the "Murder, She Wrote" (my mom was a huge fan) episodes. It was wonderful to meet you and see you in such good health and spirits. Mitch, you do a fantastic job of handling your mom's schedule of engagements, keeping the mood light and positive, making all feel welcome. Thanks for that and, again, for taking the time to speak with us and take our picture with your mom. It was such a pleasure. David (the man with the model of the creature holding your mom) and Robin (the Creature fanatic).

Hi Julie,
I’m sitting here with my wife and son watching you in “The Case of the Fatal Fortune”, a Perry Mason episode. I’m a big Perry Mason fan, and I enjoy your four appearances in that series. In this one, you married Jesse White!! Soon after, he’s poisoned, and you’re the main suspect.
My favorite of your roles is Janice Barton in “The Case of the Deadly Verdict”. In that one, Perry was your lawyer, lost the case, and you’re headed to the electric chair!! A very rare circumstance in Perry Mason. You had opportunities for fine drama, and you looked terrific.
If I can figure out a way to get a print from this episode, are you willing to autograph it if I send it to you? With you fee, of course!
I also wanted to tell you that I think it’s great that you’re still going to shows. I’m hoping to see you in San Jose in August; maybe I’ll be able to print a scene from “Deadly Verdict” by then.
Take care!
Gary

Your quality acting has entertained me from your U-I years through "Murder She Wrote". Of course, Creature from the Black Lagoon is a classic performance, but I think your parts in westerns were really memorable. Thank you so much. I hope to see you in person in San Jose on August 17.

Dear Ms. Adams,
Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to set down such a lovely reminiscence of your amazing career. Your book is full of such warmth and kindness that it was simply a joy to read. I work in the film industry now, and have for many years, but my college degree is in forestry so I find the ecological subtext in "Creature From the Black Lagoon" to be particularly resonant. Also, you make an absolutely brilliant "Eve Simpson" so thank you for that too.
Best wishes, always.

Hi Julie
We just finished watching The Creature from the Black Lagoon - I remember watching it as a child in the early 70s and I just introduced it to my 8 year old twins and we all loved it - even better than when I first saw it! You are so lovely and we really appreciate your hard work in film over the years. All the best - Jim, Emma and Christo

I remember when I was 5 and I saw "Creature from the Black Lagoon". I was in total awe. I thought you were so beautiful in the film.
Now, I have a 12yr. old daughter and we watched the film together a couple of weeks ago. She loves the movie. It makes me feel so happy to share something from my childhood with my own child and have her react so strongly as I did.
Thank you for your part.
best,
