Hi Julie, I just wanted to stop by and say that the creature from the black lagoon has been my all time favorite move from the moment I first saw you on screen. I am a painter and tattoo artist from Australia and a few years ago I had portraits of you and the creature tattooed on my hands. I would love to send you a photo of them if you would like to see. You can contact me via email at matthewgordon@live.com.au
Thankyou for reading and thankyou for all of your amazing films.
Best regards
Matthew Gordon

I must admit that our relationship started off badly since I was angry at you for treating Barbara Stanwyk so awful in "The Big Valley" but I forgave you eventually
Since then I developed a crush on you from seeing you in "The Creature From the Black Lagoon" for the very first time (I confess with a blush but with pride). I am sure you must get a lot of that. Sometimes I wonder how many marriage proposals you got from that movie
There must of been some recognition of your southern heritage as I would never fall for anything less than a genuine southern lady, for I am a born and bred proud southerner from the hills of TN near to Chattanooga. My father ran moonshine among the ridges in the shadow of Chattanooga mountains. He even let me help him soup up the cars when I was a little boy.
But I wandered off the subject...I remember your performances fondly and you will be in my thoughts and prayers always

Hello
Just wanted to look you up and say hello after seeing you on TCM in "Tickle Me" with Elvis Presley. Not one of my favorite movies but I always liked to watch you in whatever movie or television show that you appeared in during your career. Yes I know you will always be remembered as the girl in the movie "Creature from the Black Lagoon" as you have been quoted, but a couple of my favorite movies with you in it are "The Man from the Alamo (1953)and The Private War of Major Benson (1955).
Best Wishes, Dan K

Hey Miss Julie,
Creature was on TMC tonight. I am 45 years old and I remember when I saw this for the first time in the early 1970's. I watched again tonight with my 13 year old son. I had not made the Andy Griffith connection before. You are one smoking hot lady! Best wishes for your continued health and happiness.

Love your website. I just watched "Creature" for the umpteenth time, on Turner Classic Movies. I was born in 1953 so I never got to see it in a movie theater, but I will be campaigning to have it shown this year at the Kentucky Theater Summer Classic series.
I saw "Creature" many times when I was a kid in a little Kentucky coal-mining camp, on our old b/w television in the living room, and I watch almost every time it is on television.
Thank you for all of the wonderful memories your movies and television appearances have given, and continue to give me.
Best,
Joe

Id Like to say hello Mrs Adams, I truly love the creature from the black lagoon. Im only 32 but this movie is truly a piece of art and they just dont make them like that anymore. It has actually directed towards my passion which is making monster suits and props for low budget movies. I have in the works a sculpt of the gill man that I plan on finishing up for the summer time to cast and produce a fully wearable costume just like the one used in the film. Its exciting to see it take shape and I cant wait to have underwater promotion shots of me in the suit taken. Thanks again George.

I have been meaning to contact Miss Adams for many years. Today I was reminded of this, while watching "Lagoon." and admiring her talent and beauty. I miss the boat on working with her, because I waited too long. This is to say, I have and always will enjoy seeing her face on screen.
