My name is Reba Fitzhugh. My mother's name is Anna Boyd Marshall Lindvall. My mother was dear friends to Carolyn (Bitsy) Cox. When you would come to Malvern during the summer back in the 30's, you would all play together. My mother turns 90 next month so you are a little younger than Bitsy and my mom. Mom saw the article in the Arkansas Democrat today about you being in Little Rock. She is looking forward to attending the book signing and speaking with you. She's not sure if you remember her but she remembers several stories of your visits over the summers.

Ms Adams,
I am 58 years young and reside on our small family farm in West Virginia. Without a doubt my first crush was you, when I saw Black Lagoon on TV as a boy. IF possible could I get a signed photo from you? It will be proudly displayed in my man-cave. If at all possible a scene from the movie would be terrific. You are one beautiful woman!
Thank you
Jeff

Hello Miss Adams
I would just like to tell you that I watch your films when they are on TV in our country. But my big hobby is collecting postcards, and I have some of you, Picturegoer postcards, which was an old magazine that ran in our country from the 20s to the 60s.

It is 15 years ago today that your partner and my dear friend, Ronald M. Cohen, died. He is very, very much missed. I can still hear him saying, "Isn't that interesting!" There was no one like him.

Hi Julie!
I recently saw your wonderful performance in an
ALFRED HITCHCOCK PRESENTS film.
It was about you and your son touring a mine in Nevada and the mine falls on both of you.
It is an eerie story but fun!
I loved you in that film! You are fantastic in it!

Watched the Creature From the Black Lagoon yesterday for the first time since I was a kid. I knew I had seen the actress who played Kay before - after checking your Bio I realized you have been on every TV show I once watched - great memories. My favorite actor of all time was also Jimmy Stewart! No one quite like him. Time for me to pick up your book and read more about you. Hope all is well.

Hello, my husband and I just watched 'Creature from the Black Lagoon'. I was curious to see what else you had been in as I was not familiar with you, but you looked familiar. I was amazed at your lengthy, successful career. I will definitely have to check out your other movies now. Best to you in your future endeavors and for good health. Kim

My hubby and I just watched Creature from the Black Lagoon on this cool Spring afternoon and enjoyed. I didn't realize that it was originally done in 3D. He remembers the Aurora Universal model he had as a kid in the 60's of the creature.
You are a great actress of those days and I enjoyed many of the old TV series you starred in. All forerunners for today's movies.
Our daughter is majoring in 3D Animation and Modeling and has a great appreciation for the old films. She even collects a lot of the movies from the 1940's and 50's.
Thank you for those movies that have inspired our young people today.

Julie: Yes, The Black Lagoon" is one of my favorite movies! The Creature was outstanding, but it just wouldn't have been the same without you.
I watched "Back to the Black Lagoon" with David Skaal interviewing several of the actors etc. It's always nice to hear that those involved enjoyed and take pride in what they have done.
I look forward to reading your book (and receiving the photo). Wishing you the very best - God Bless! Roger

Hi Julia:
I was born in 1944, and was 10 when I first saw "Ceature of the Black Lagoon". You have to know that this was the best "Creature" movie of my youth, and I still remember seeing it for the first time.
I also have a copy of you with Jimmy in "Bend in the River".
You have been my favorite "cowboy movie" actress since I was a little boy, and I was thrilled to find your Web Site.
I confess I also loved JoAnn Dru in "Yellow Ribbon', ...and Doris Day in "Calamity Jane", ...however, I loved you best.
Thanks for all the great memories.

I have enjoyed watching your performances through the years. I remember seeing you in an interview on a station in Little Rock many years ago and you mentioned that you wanted to retire here. I have often wondered if you did. We saw one of the Perry Mason episodes tonight and, as always, you were wonderful! I live in Arkansas now, where my late mother was born and grew up, but I grew up in southern California. My husband was born in Waverly, Iowa and grew up in Clarksville. I just wanted to let you know how lovely I think you are and how much I have admired your work. May God bless you.
