Remembering your devoted partner and my dear friend on today, his birthday. He is greatly missed. Ronald was one of the very, very few in Hollywood who held out his hand to help others.

Julie had the chance to meet you at the Chiler show in October. Looks like 1950s sci fi is still pretty popular, even in the art community. A recent Monsters and Maidens Film Poster sale at Swann Galleries in NY showed some hefty prices for their offerings. The orginal Creature didn't sell, but a Spanish poster for Revenge of the Creature brought in about $3,500. Hope you come back to another Chiller show real soon. Have a wonderful holiday!

Hi Julie. I was searching for info on 1950s sci-fi/horror movies and happened upon your website. What a wonderfully talented babe you have always been, and will always be. I remember bumping into you and your gentleman once in Europe, and I was just trying to remember exactly where it was. I was thinking it could have been in either 1975 or 1976, possibly at the Museum of Modern Art in Zurich, or in Vienna, at one of the art museums or Schoenbrunn Palace. It's been a while ago, so am not certain I'm remembering that correctly. Were you in one of those places in '75 or '76?
Continued success to you kiddo. Sending my very best wishes for a happy holiday season.

Julie- I saw you in Bend of the River when I was 11 years old but I really didn't take notice until I saw you in the Creature at the Mill City,Ore theater at the midnight show Halloween 1956. After that you kept popping up in a lot of movies. I enjoyed them much,
I checked out your book from the Little Rock Library on an inter-library loan. This was when you only had 100 copies published. Surprised they lent it to me; it was their only copy! Thanks for your memories.

Hi Julie,
I have really enjoyed your performances over the years. Since my two favorite types of movies are Sci-Fi and westerns, I especially liked your work in Creature From the Black Lagoon and Bend of the River. I hope you are doing well and I hope you and your family have a nice holiday season.
All the best,
Russ

Julie I was fortunate enough to meet you at the Chiller Convention last month. You were kind enough to take a picture and sign your book for me. I'm a retired Wall Street guy, but I dabble in rare books and posters. I noticed that one of the major auction galleries in NYC is offering a 'Creature' original poster, expecting to bring in $15,000-20,000. Just wanted to passt that along.

Hello Julie and Mitch! It was so great to meet the two of you and have some great conversations at Chiller. I'm hoping you guys got out of there okay before the bad weather hit. As for me, my flights kept getting bumped/cancelled to the point where I finally just drove the rental car 22+ back home to Iowa. But I had your audiobook to keep me company! Hope to see both of you soon, and take care.

Ms. Adams: Above the desk in my study as I write these words there hangs a replica of the poster for "Creature from the Black Lagoon". On numerous occasions I name the Creature as my sentimental favorite from the so-called "classic" era of monster movies. Saw it as a youngster when it scared the hell out of me(!) and years later viewed a 3D screening at the now-defunct UC Theater in Berkeley. Although I am sadly unfamiliar with most of your other work in acting, I want to thank you for the many enjoyable memories. Take care of yourself. Namaste!

It's always such a pleasure to see you both, and the 3D CREATURE film was simply amazing (as was all the Universal memorabilia on display)! Hope you enjoyed the flowers, and I am now finishing up your book which is one of the most enjoyable biographies I've ever read. See you again soon...
